The Top Travel Apps

There are lots of ways to use technology to make life easier. Now it is possible to make travelling easier with technology, too. Jody Robbins reveals the apps she thinks are the most useful for travelling:

  1. CheapOAir will take care of your travel planning requirements. There’s a live chat option to make it even easier to choose and book your travel and accommodation.
  2. Stay ahead of the game with FlightStats. This app allows you to check on the status of flights and airports in case of delays or cancellations.
  3. FlightBoard puts the arrivals and departures board in your hand, so you don’t need to keep looking up or trying to peer over the heads of others to check on your connection.
  4. GateGuru lets you know what amenities are available at your chosen terminal.
  5. Mom Maps and AroundMe are both useful for families looking for conveniences and attractions close by.
  6. Urban Spoon takes the hassle out of choosing where to eat – it finds local eating places and can be narrowed down further to fit a budget or particular type of cuisine.
