Exciting New Cuisine in Surfers Paradise

According to a recent piece in Surfers Paradise Nights, the ongoing redevelopment of Surfers Paradise is creating some remarkable new dining experiences, featuring cuisine from some truly great chefs. The article singles out three restaurants for special mention.

  • Seaduction – On the beachfront at Sea Temple Resort in the new Soul development, this restaurant offers a modern menu inspired by fresh local produce. The Executive Chef, Steve Szabo, offers dishes that exemplify his technical skills, which include butter-poached crayfish and marinated tuna, rainbow trout sandwich and sous vide duck breast.
  • Four Winds – Queensland’s only revolving restaurant, it is located atop the Crown Plaza Hotel and offers ever-changing views of the city, ocean and Hinterland. The menu is an exciting blend of international, Asian and modern Australian cuisine, with everything from fresh seafood to Middle Eastern-style steaks.
  • Salt Grill – Situated at the Hilton Surfers Paradise, this superb restaurant is headed up by celebrity chef, Luke Mangan, whose specialty is a seven-course degustation menu prepared before your eyes in an open-kitchen. You can also order meat and seafood dishes off the grill and there is an extensive wine list, with something to perfectly compliment every dish.
