Crown Prince of Dubai Will Visit the Gold Coast

Tom Tate, Gold Coast Mayor, has met with the future ruler of Dubai during a trade mission to the United Arab Emirates and the Prince has accepted an invitation to visit the Gold Coast.

According to a recent article on goldcoast.com.au, Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received Tate warmly during his 45-minute audience and agreed to visit Dubai’s sister city on the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise.

Tate is keen to encourage further relations with Dubai and believes we can learn a lot from them in terms of development, tourism and education. He said Surfers Paradise is well known there and he would like to build on that relationship in the future.

The Crown Prince also invited Tate back to the UAE as his guest and Tate said he had committed to going back twice a year and to instigating new council projects with Dubai.
