Here are some of our favourite water adventures that you can explore while visiting Surfers Paradise.

Surf Lessons

Surfing is a huge part of the Australian culture and what better place to learn than on the beautiful, iconic beaches of the Gold Coast. You can sign up to beginner and intermediate surf classes.

While you’re at it, take a look at booking into some Surfers Paradise accommodation, giving you easy access to the beach. After all there is no better way to end a day than to take a stroll down to the beach to catch a sunset surf session.

Jet Boat Ride

For those looking for an adrenaline rush, a high speed jet boat ride should be on your list.  Almost flying around the waters of the Gold Coast at around 80km per hour, these Jet Boat rides include massive sideways slides, awesome fish tails, wave riding, the infamous ‘Power brake Stop’ and incredible 270 degree spins. You won’t be able to wipe the smile of your face all day, leaving you eager to tackle your next Gold Coast adventure.

Cruises

A Gold Coast cruise is a brilliant way to see the highlights and beauty of the city. You can take a cruise to nearby islands, up a river to catch fish and crabs, or to hand-feed dolphins and to see other marine life.

Alternatively, jump onboard and take advantage of the 2 hour cocktail dinner cruise or the 90 minute Gold Coast sightseeing cruise. Also enjoy a full day Reef Ryder Island cruise where you enjoy entertainment all day then land at Wave Break Island. Once there you can go snorkeling!

Beach Safari Bike Ride

Something that must not be missed is a bike ride along the beautiful sand dunes of the Gold Coast. Along the way you will learn about the pristine beaches, conservation and wildlife. From May to November there is a chance to spot whales. You even have the luxury of being picked up at your gold coast accommodation – now that is serious service!

Kayaking Sunset Tour

Start the evening with a sunset kayak on the waters of Surfers Paradise. A sunset paddle is a very romantic way to enjoy the serene waters of the Gold Coast. Wind your way around the islands and admire the impressive waterfront homes of the rich and famous. Afterwards, relax with a glass of wine and share a cheese platter as you watch the sun go down.

Surfers Paradise is a great place to enjoy a weekend of water adventures. Find anything from adrenaline rushes to peaceful, romantic getaways and everything in between. Then head back to your luxury Gold Coast accommodation to rest up and do it all over again!
