Review Of The Rockpools Water Playground

Gold Coast Kids recently reviewed the Rockpools Water Playground in the Broadwater Parklands and here’s what they found.

The reviewer gave the many facilities a big thumbs-up, including the barbeques, picnic tables and shelters, showers and toilets (including a disability toilet) drinking fountains, fenced playground, electricity and water taps.

There’s also a bike track, a walking track, a boardwalk, scooter and BMX facilities, a boat ramp, a jetty, a sports field and safe swimming. Dogs can also be accommodated on a leash. The Rockpool Café is just forty metres from the rockpools and Australia Fair shopping centre is also just across the highway.

The reviewer considered the best features for kids under five to be the water jets and animal statues to climb on and the playground, complete with a jumping pillow and pedal trains. For kids over five, there’s the swimming lagoon, the climbing apparatus and the scooter and bike racing track.
